I've been reading some alarming stories about cellphones and their potential side effects on children. Anyone else got any ideas on this subject?

I have heard some things about cell phones and people over using them, but I haven't heard anything about any effects on children.
Are the children using the phones or does this have to do with the microwaves and the effect that they have on kids?
Can you tell us where you first heard about this story?

I haven't heard anything, either, and would also be interested in knowing more about what you are referring to. Is it that they use them in school, causing poor grades? Because I have heard that.

I have not heard any effects on children except if you do not watch them they can get a pretty high cell phone bill.

I heard about cell phone danger in general, like the radiation and such. But I haven`t heard anything about kids. Seems everything these days causes cancer in some way. It gets very confusing. I just do what I want. I can`t watch all this stuff they keep coming up with.

I want to know why kids are even using cell phones to start with. I really don't see the need for one until they are at least 15 if not older.

I would rather my daughter had one though as she is safer with one rather than without.

I can see the sense in kids having cellphones if they are going to be away from home often. It's safer that way but I would rather just let my kid borrow mine. I haven't heard any problems with kids using cellphones but I would be interested in knowing more on this.

I heard they can cause cancer from the radiation...But that is ridiculous. Everything is gonna kill us!
