Bath Products

Is it safe to use adult bath products on children? I have always purchased child shampoo and soap, but am wondering if I really need to continue with the added expense.

I have always used childrens shampoo but I used regular soap. The shampoo has the no tears so thats why I always used it. I don`t see any difference in the soap though. Unless you like to buy the ones that they can draw with and stuff.

There should be little difference between kids soaps and adults so long as you are purchasing ones that aren't harsh. Especially for younger children a sensitive/mild soap should be just as good as the fancy J&J bath wash. I would keep with the tearless shampoos though.

Yes, I agree. Stick with the no tears shampoo, but you could always look for cheaper brands to buy, thats what i do and they work just as well.

I was never comfortable using anything but baby soaps etc when the kids were little but that is because you just can not find stuff in adult products that are as pure without spending a whole lot more.

You would especially want to stick with children's formulated bubble baths because adult formulas have so much more additives and such. Any sort of bubble bath product can cause problems in kids though...uti's can occur. My poor li'l granddaughter had that happen to her...so she had to wait until she could take more bubbly baths!

When my sons were small the only bubble bath they could use was from avon. Everything else caused irritation.

I would think it was better to buy child products. Most of them are tearless. I have not heard of any things going wrong with using adult bath products on children though.
