I've been reading of certain spices that are particularly important and useful for your health, cumin being one of them. What do you know about others and their effects? |

I am not really the best to ask as I have always had issues eating anything too spicy. Even when someone says "thats just a little flavoring" it ends up being too spicy for me. |

Some of the spices can actually be taken as supplements so they wouldn't bother your stomach. Garlic is supposed to have a lot of health benefits and it comes in capsule form for those who don't actually cook with it. I use garlic all the time but I don't really know if the powdered form retains the healthful properties or not. |

I know that some things, like ginger is good for the stomach, and honey is good if you have a H Pilori infection (that leads to a stomach ulcer). Otherwise I haven't much looked into this. |
