Subject: | Sour stomach | |
I know this never happened when I was younger so I trying to think what causes this as we get older. Doesn't stomach lining grow back, so even if you drank many acid like drinks in the past, it would grow again to protect your stomach? I feel like I should just get a stock pile of heartburn pills as well since its the only thing that seems to help when it gets like this. |

I think it does grow back but not as thick as it was initially. I remember as a child for some weird reason I would eat salt and lime juice. I suddenly dawned on me that I was harming myself, of course I developed an ulcer, over time, with treatment it got better, but now I can't leave my stomach empty for too long because it starts hurting after a while. |

I think at some point most all kids drank that lime juice, are you taking about the kind that mom always left in the fridge? Oh wait, for me that was lemon juice. Thinking of it now I have no idea why I did that. |

This has to be something that comes with age for some people. I know its gotten worse for me in the past ten years or so as just last night something I thought would be simple ended up giving me pains like you would not imagine. |
