Subject: | Reflexology | |
Every two weeks I go in to my fave salon to get a deep massage. Last week when I went in I found out that they also offer reflexology and I want to try it. Anybody here ever did this? |

Reflexologists posit that the body contains an energy field, invisible life force, or Qi, the blockage of which can prevent healing. Other reflexologists claim to be able to relieve stress and pain in other parts of the body through the manipulation of the feet. I think it could bevery soothing and relaxing but I wouldn't bank on any actual healing qualities. |

I have never had a reflexology treatment, but I have a very keen interest in it and have even bought some books to study on my own while I locate a class or some form of formal training. |

My grandma was a masseuse and learned reflexology later on in her career. I don't know how it all works exactly and it probably doesn't work for everyone, but it 'does' to do some good for many. I'd suggest trying it out if you have any interest at all....even if it doesn't solve all your problems, it'll still feel amazing, lol! |

I have a keen interest in wanting to practise reflexology. The british use it at a recognised complimentary therapy, and it is used in hospitals. Although I am sure it does not provide cures, it would help relax a patient, which would be a great benefit. |
