So many reports say that positive thinking helps people do everything from live better lives to curing themselves of terrible diseases, but I just don't believe it. I do think that a positive outlook can make doing some things easier: It can help you get through rough times and help you try harder, but I think that telling people that they can do anything with a positive outlook is not at all realistic. I don't think that depression can be stopped with just a few words of encouragement. Sometimes depression has to do with a chemical inbalance that can't be cured with just a positive attitude. |

I think positive thinking can play a significant role in someones health. A positive mind set has an actual proven effect on the body which stands to reason can alter the effectiveness of ones immune system. There have been numerous studies on this though I do not know if anything has yet been proven. |

POsitive thinking can have a direct outcome on may aspects of health. If your a positive perosn and you dicover something is wrong often you can handle it better than others. POsitive thinking can keep you in aless stress level. However they have disocverdd poeple who are positive thinkers often are doing it ebcause they have problems that they are trying to compensate for and created a new stres by trying to be positive. You have to be a naturally positive person in order for positive thinking to work properly. |

Well, if they can have positive thinking in their minds in the first place, I guess they won't be depressed. Now that they are some depressed patients, it is real hard to get them to think positively. Maybe there are some experts out there who make a living out of it to turn things around. Anyone know any of them? |

From experience, I have found that when I think positive I enjoy better help, higher self esteem and more or less a happy way of life. There is absolutely power in positive thinking. |
