What is something that you keep around your house all the time for a "just in case of ER"? Having an normal band aid/cut/bruise kit got me thinking, we are we not doing this with home made remedies essentials as well? |

We have the normal first aid kit, and witch hazel, hydrogen peroxide, and allergy stuff, including calamine lotion. I like to keep lavender oil too as it is wonderful for burns. |

I keep pain killers, vapor rub, rubbing alcohol for fevers, bandages of various shapes and sizes, cotton gauzes, olive oil. I also have some home made remedies for warding off colds and flus. |

I keep things for bites and small-med size cuts/booboos. I double stock on band aids as I am accident prone myself. I know some still stock up on that stuff (iodine maybe?) that I can not use as it burns bad. |

I make sure I keep a healthy aloe vera plant in my kitchen for burns from grease splashes. I also keep Vitamin C tablets and oregano, which is a natural antibiotic. |

I would love to have another aloe vera plant but it seems I can not keep them alive in this new state that I live in. And I have always had them every other place I have lived. |
