My doctor recently diagnosed me with fibroid tumors and is recommending surgery. I seem to remember reading somewhere or maybe hearing from someone else that there is a natural way to shrink fibroids and possibly avoid surgery. Has anyone else heard of this?

My best friend had a very bad case of fibroid tumors. She is into naturopathic medicine and she drank one teaspoon of cayenne pepper in an 12 oz glass of tomato juice. Her tumors have shrank almost to non=existence over the course of the last year.
