Subject: | Natural Constipation Management-Tooth Kind | |
I am needing a natural constipation management routine without risking caries. The most commonly used methods include prunes and other dried fruit which are high in sugars, so not kind to teeth. My diet is already high in fibre. |

If you check the process method and ingredients in the dried fruit to find unsweetened fruits and brush your teeth/floss/rinse after there should be no issue using dried fruit for constipation. The problem with many marketed fruits is they add sugar or other sweeteners when processing to make them taste good. Its not really the amount of sugar as much as the fact that dried fruit is often sticky with this added sugar since it may be a syrup they dip the fruit in while drying. |

Have you tried eating fresh fruit instead of the dried fruit? This works really well especially if you have some everyday along with some high fiber cereal. My doctor also recommends a stool softener too and remember to drink a lot of water. The water is essential. |

Drinking lots of water will be a great help to softening the stools, as well as drinking fruit juices, and eating fresh soft fruit such as peaches. |
