My wife convinced me to try this Kidney flush product she bought me. Does this type of product really do any good. I have had a couple kidney stones in my time and don't relish getting another one. On the other hand I'm a tight wad and really don't like spending money for nothing either.

I am not familiar with kidney flush products. I have heard of colon cleanse products and some of these are good and some are bad. I would research the product online or through Consumer Reports.

Most people that I know just use cranberry juice since its cheaper. I am not sure how this would work but I would check out the reviews for it both online and with your doctor first.

The cranberry juice is supposed to make the bladder walls hard for germs to stick to. As far as kidney stones, I don't know what it would do unless it's the change of pH that helps to prevent them. I know that cranberry juice is supposed to be good for the urinary tract and I've actually seen cranberry pills but I don't know if they would work the same.

I don't see what it would do that a lot of water would do. It seems that companies are really selling anything that they can even if it just something that you can do at home. But they charge a huge price for it.
