Subject: Detoxifying Foot patches?

I mentioned this in another topic, but as it was a bit off topic for that , I thought I'd best ask about it here.

I've seen detoxifying foot patches which adhere to the bottom of your feet(soles of your feet) which are meant to detoxify your body. On the box, the illustration shows that the patch literally turns dark as the toxins are released from your body. It costs around 20 dollars at my local drugstore, and I would like to try it but would love to hear any experiences any of you have had with them first. Anyone used these? Thanks so much !

I'm very interested in hearing the response to this also. I had not heard about them and saw them in the store. I laughed when I saw them, but my husband said that he heard about them on TV. I really would like to try them, but wonder if they are worth the money. Anyone with experience on these?

I'm too much of a skeptic to spend my twenty to try them. I am curious though. If anyone dares to try them I would be interested in hearing what they think of them. Any takers?

I have a brother whose feet are toxic. One whiff of his socks will tell you that. How does a patch stuck to the bottom of your foot suck toxins out of your whole body? I just find this a little hard to believe.

I don't believe this really works. If you put certain chemicals in a patch you are sure to get a patch that will turn dark. I think they are just scamming people.

Oh, I think that's just a bunch of hooie. I think this is another one of the things that they sell as "the next big miracle cure" that doesn't have any value at all. I think they have got a bunch of people fooled. I also wish I had thought of the pet rock.LOL

Never heard of this but I would be interested. Is it 20 bucks for a box of patches or how many does that cover? And is it safe?

I am not convinced that these things are what they are supposed to be either. I think they are trying to scam people. Think of how steel wool reacts with bleach. I think that's what they are doing with these patches.

Yeah, it's been proven that this product doesn't work. Yes, the patch turns darks, but it's not dark with toxins, it turns dark from the heat of your skin. It's a scam, don't buy it.
