Is anyone here into aromatherapy? What scents do you use and help you. I know lavender is relaxing and I usually start sneezing when I'm around it so I cant use to much of that for relaxing and stress. I try to get scents that give me energy and are uplifting in our home. I personally think aromatherpy even includes candles, oils, hand washes and other scents that can promote a feeling or create an effect in the home. (Maybe it's just me though.)What do you use in your house? |

I've tried aromatherapy and like you, I end up sneezing or else I feel it doesn't help much. I feel like sometimes the simple ACT of lighting a candle, applying spray or oils, or taking a bath with products is in itself enough to calm, soothe, relax, etc. It might be a placebo effect. |

I use the country fresh Glade plugins to give a pleasant smell and atmosphere to my house. I also have the scented handsoaps. |

If I want my surroundings to make me feel calm and happy, I just boil some water with cinnamon sticks in it. The house smells great and it's inexpensive and everyone who walks in loves it too! They all think a pie is baking! LOL |
