Snoring
|
|
My Dad has always been a snorer. Drives my Mom up the wall. She used to be able to just roll him over and the it would stop but as he is getting older it is getting worse. Now he can snore in almost any position. Has anyone ever heard of that before? I always thought that only people sleeping on their back snore.

Maybe he needs some additional pillows to keep his head higher up. He also might have some kind of breathing disorder. He should see a doctor just to make sure that he's okay.

My husband snores no matter where or how he is sleeping. He does suffer from asthma, so I can cut him a little slack. I often find if I give him a quick nudge, he stops long enough for me to get back to sleep.

My husband snores terrible. He went to a sleep clinic and they diagnosed him with sleep apnea which they say is the cause of his snoring. I think it is the cause of the worst of it for sure. He now sleeps with a c-pac (sp?) machine and it helps an enourmous amount! He still snores a little, but its bearable at least!!

My sig other snores when he is overly tired or when he has a cold- I usually just nudge him and he stops- or I tickle his face.
Usually rolling over does the trick- It's odd that your dad snores on his side too! How incredibly annoying!

I snore badly too and I have even heard myself snoring during those half-awake states. It's embarrassing to say the least. Are men more prone to snoring?

I don't think there's any proof that men or women snore more. He should definitely talk to his doctor about his snoring and possibly get checked out in a sleep lab for apnea or other sleep disorders. In the meanwhile Breath Right strips may help in the short term.

Snoring? No problem. Just use SnoreStop to get minimize it, if you cannot get rid of it. It is different from other throat spray products in a sense that it lubricates the soft tissues in your throat. Read http://acnemine.com/interest.htm to find out more.
