Immortality?

Scientists are working hard to find a drug that will allow you to never age anymore. Practically immortal, but able to be hurt by disease, accidents and such. What do you think about it?

I think we shouldn't screw with God and nature. Bad things happen when we do this. I am sure that such a drug would eventually be found to cause a huge amount of other problems. Not to mention the discrimination that would arise from that. Already you can often distinguish wealthy from poor based upon who can afford Botox. Can you imagine if it was as simple as paying for and taking a pill? I will certainly choose to age gracefully.

I do not like it as we cannot live forever anyway when it is your time to go it's your time to go. Just leave it alone.

I just can't see the advantage to living forever. Life is tough enough for the time we have to live it without putting an indefinite time on it. Over population would be a serious issue if that happened!

I am looking forward to the time when all people can live forever. This will turn some of our beliefs on their head but then change is good occasionally.

I agree with the poster who said we should not be messing with Gods plan. There is a reason we need to age, and we should just let it be. Science has been able to do a lot of good things, but sometimes I think they take it too far!

They won't find anything that fight the aging process especially with the pollution out there. Another factor is the food that we eat which I think is way too "polluted"!
