Things were looking down

  • OK, I am 55, male married, 21 yr daughter, and am a Beliver in Jesus. I did all the things young people do. party, drugs, not much on the sex thing liked to party a lot. anyway i was found by Jesus in my late 20s. Health was ok, then in my late 30s i was diag. with Hep C and a bad liver. (TO MUCH BOOZE and a tattoo) dock told me to stop drinking, put me on inferion, and pills, for six months. I ask Jesus to heal me. But i also knew there were results for my sin that i had made my body bad. Had a bad acilles tendoin also. I looked pretty bad. Then i Started to study Gods word BIBLE= belivers instructions before leaving earth. Jesus touched my acilles tendion RIGHT FOOT. that was over 7 yrs ago. i started my street evanglism. Doc said liver was recovering, but now i had type 2 diabet. OHHH Boy. So I went to sites that were honest and not trying to sell me something. I was 235 pounds at 6ft. I read that if i changed my eating habits and would excersise i would feel better. So i began the yr 2010 with this in mind. I ate smaller amount, drank lots water, stareted walking 1/2 mile then 1 mile now up to 3-4 miles aday. as of last month July 28th I was taken of my diabetic meds by my doc. He said that if all His patenits would do this Diabes 2 could be cured. So walk, watch what you eat, and after a meal go for a short walk if thats all you can do. even if its around the house, walk in place. burn of those fat storing cells that store sugar. I am high sugar. do not take insulin. Have more energy now too. Hope this encourages people to just get up and do it. I am thankful to God that he guided me.

Cary Byrd Yes, that's very encouraging to hear Ron - thank you so much for sharing. The drug commercials always say: "When diet and exercise fail . . . " which is completely false - diet and exercise never fail ; ) Thank you Ron and may God continue to bless you,...  more
