Support for Type 1/Juvenile Diabetes

    I decided to create this topic for those that may have difficulties with this type of diabetes whether is be self, children, friend or loved one. My brother and i both have had this disease since the age of 12 which would be over 30 years of ups and downs.

    Yes, I have many family members with diabetes and almost 4 years ago my cousin passed away due to complications of diabetes; she was barely in her thirties when she went to be with her heavenly father. Thanks for starting this tread Cynthia : )

    I have type 2 but my daughter's boyfriend has type 1. He's 18 and has quite a struggle with it. I created a group for diabetes...here's the link: /health-community/support-groups/11
