As of today, we’ve officially completed our beta period and launched eDrugSearch.com; we’re obviously very excited about it. Read our launch release here.

We’ve already begun to get some nice media coverage, so we hope the word will continue to spread quickly.

I’d like to thank everyone who has participated in our beta program; we’ve received some valuable feedback that we plan to implement in the site. In particular, we plan to add a number of robust community features that will make eDrugSearch.com an even more valuable — and personalized — resource for our members.

We’re also continuing to add drug listings from pharmacies that meet our screening requirements. The eDrugSearch.com database is now at 30,000 drug listings, and we hope to reach 100,000 later this year.

So — even though we’re now officially “launched” — we will continue to make improvements to the site on an ongoing basis, with help from you. So please, keep the feedback coming!

I’d also like to send out a thank-you to a few of the bloggers who have been so gracious in welcoming us into the blogosphere. A special thanks to Merrill Goozner, John Mack, Peter Rost, Kevin Pho, CL Psych, Philip Dawdy, Julia Schopick, Kate-A, Francine Hardaway, depression introspection, Peopleslawyer, Joshua Daly, Liberal Values, MMR, and Alan Weinkrantz .

Oh, and last but not least, the blogger who gave me my very first link-love: the Insider at PharmaGossip, who I like to think of as a kindred spirit.

Thanks again to everyone!
