Additional Comments: This is a very effective drug, but does indeed have a few dangers. If one bumps their elbow or any other area, a pooling of blood within the skin or major bruise can be expected, as this is a blood thinner, after all. A rupture of the skin can cause excessive but not uncontrollable bleeding. On a lesser note, one must have almost no alcohol for the drug to be effective and Vitamin K must also be avoided. As long as one gets the proper dosage as determined by regular blood tests this us an excellent drug, especially given the alternative.
