Positive Aspects of Toprol xl:  Relieves chest pains associated with high blood pressure

Reason for taking Toprol xl:  Chest pains associated with high blood pressure

Additional Comments:  I really like the extended-release because I only have to take it once a day. I have had no side effects but the doctor said to watch out for weight gain, rapid heart beat, and shortness of breath.
