Positive Aspects of K-dur:  Potassium Supplement

Negative Aspects of K-dur:  Large pill, Hard To Swallow

Reason for taking K-dur:  To Replace Potassium Lost While On Diuretic

Additional Comments:  My doctor prescribed this medication because I was suffering from charlie horses as a result of a potassium deficiency caused by the diuretic I was taking. Because K-Dur is a time-released medication the pills cannot be split or crushed. They must be taken whole.
