Positive Aspects of Clonidine:  Helped my son sleep

Negative Aspects of Clonidine:  Also has cardiac effects

Reason for taking Clonidine:  My son was given this to help sleep due to side effects from Adderall.

Additional Comments:  Problem is that the cardiac effects were not mentioned by doctor. Doctors should be more aware of other uses before prescribing.

Positive Aspects of Clonidine:  Works very well. Very reasonably priced.

Negative Aspects of Clonidine:  It is a controlled substance and as such should be used with caution.

Reason for taking Clonidine:  Sleep and blood pressure

Additional Comments:  Clonidine works very well and has several uses. It does have some side effects which should be considered when prescribed. Make sure to take this drug at bedtime because it will make you sleepy which is great for me. I have a great deal of back pain and it does help me sleep.
