Reason for taking Chantix:  To finally quit smoking cigarettes

Additional Comments:  I was very skeptical at first but it really is amazing. It truly just turns off the switch in my brain that says "have a smoke" after a meal or when I get in the car or any of the other trigger times. It does require that you do want to quit because you can smoke when you take it and at least in my experience, it doesnt give you headaches like nicotine substitutes. So if you have really made the decision, I highly recommend Chantix. Oh, yeah, it is a little pricey and not covered by insurance (what a joke), but when you add up how much you save on buying smokes, it's a wash.

Negative Aspects of Chantix:  Changes how food tastes, leaves a weird taste in your mouth.

Reason for taking Chantix:  to quit smoking

Additional Comments:  I used Chantix to quit twice. The first time was successful, but started smoking again several months later. The second time I wasn't successful and I stopped taking Chantix before finishing the round. I did hear recently that it has caused some people to commit suicide, so do be careful with this drug!
