Positive Aspects of Abilify:

Worked wonders for psychotic symptoms, no auditory hallucinations, mood elevated, felt great!

Negative Aspects of Abilify:

high rate weight gain (30 pounds in 30 days)

Reason for taking Abilify:

psychosis

Additional Comments:

Abilify is a wonderful antipsychotic except for the weight gain issue. If a person has no trouble with that aspect of it, this would be the drug of choice for treatment of psychosis and to elevate one's mood a bit. My pdoc wsa fearful I would become diabetic or have some other life threatening disease as result of the weight gain and d/c my Abilify after 30 days.
